The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs holds its Grand Chapître once a year and it normally takes place at one of our larger cities in order to provide attendees a wider choice of "Things to do" and "places to go." This year's Grand Chapître was held in Atlanta Georgia - population around five and a half million. The four previous Grand Chapîtres were held in San Diego, New York City, Boston, and Chicago.


All in all, during the three days we were in Atlanta, there were 13 planned events to attend if one was interested. To name just a few: Our Grand Reception, Arts & Garden Tour, War between the States Tour, Atlanta's Heroes, Gone with the Wind Dinner, Atlanta History Museum, CNN Center & Fox Theater tour, Dancing, and lastly, the Grand Gala Induction and Elevation Dinner with two of our very own being "elevated." Bill Salomon, elevated to Chambellan Provincial Southwest Region, and John Wade elevated to Conseiller Gastronomique Provincial Southwest . (**) The March of the Bailli's takes place at every Chapître. Every Bailli is at the event assembles in an area outside the dining room and are honored (announced) one by one by name and bailliage as they enter to be seated.
