Dear Confreres,
As Bailli Provincial Sud Oest, and on behalf of Bailli Suzanne Hoffman LeBlanc, it is my pleasure to
send you this invitation to join us at the Southwest Regional Assemblage June 24-27 in beautiful Vail,
Colorado! While this invitation is aimed primarily at the Southwestern Baillis and Officers, we welcome
and encourage all Chaîne members to attend.

We are very honored that a number of our highest National Officers have expressed their intention to
attend this meeting. Normally, we are fortunate to have only one; however, this year, Bailli Délégué,
George H. Brown, Jr., Chancelier National, Sandi Miller, Argentier National, Hal Small, Chairman of the
Chaîne Foundation, Dr. Steve Gerkin and Grand Echanson, Jim Pozzi will ALL be there!

Our host hotel, The Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, was carefully selected and is ideally suited to the size of
our group. It has the distinction of being “One of the Leading Small Hotels of the World”, is currently
listed in the top 10 luxury hotels in the United States, top 50 in Travel and Leisure, and top 75 in Conde
Nast. It is owned and managed by Vail Chaîne member Johannes Faessler, and is located in the heart of

The rooms we have reserved for our group are all Junior Suites, complete with fireplaces and ultra
luxurious bath amenities and include a complete, super, breakfast buffet for two each day at a special rate beginning at $224.00. Room reservations are to be made directly with the hotel. Many of you have expressed an interest in adding a few days to your stay since Vail offers so many
opportunities at this time of year, not to mention the fabulous weather. We have arranged for the Chaîne room rate to be effective 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting dates. Also, we have included on the attached flyer a schedule of activities for the 2 days prior to the Assemblage dates. Please indicate those activities in which you wish to participate.
