          On Thursday, May 15, 2008, members of the San Antonio Bailliage of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs are gathering at Soleil Bistro and Wine Bar located in the Cadillac Shopping Center on Blanco Road,  a block south of Bitters Road.  This will be a gathering of Chaîne members and friends to try items from the menu and wine list.  Judy and I recently dined there and were very impressed with the ambience, the food, and the service. The wines on the list pair well with the food.  However, if you choose to bring your own wine, Soleil has a reasonable corkage fee of $10 per bottle.

Here is how it works:

1.   Call Soleil Bistro & Wine Bar at (210) 408-2670 and make a reservation for the night of May 15.  Identify yourself as a part of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.  This will give us an accurate count and allow us all to be seated in the same area.

2.   At the restaurant, order from the menu.  Each couple will receive separate checks and be responsible for their own tab.

3.   Further information about Soleil, its menu and wine list are available on line at www.soleilbistro.net.

4.   At the website, you will also find the wine specials.
