Dear Confréres and Friends, 

April in San Antonio can mean only two things, a Chaîne Induction for the best of us and Fiesta San Antonio for the rest of us.  This year, the two stalwarts of April finally come together.   On Sunday, April 29, the last day of Fiesta San Antonio, the Bailliage de San Antonio will gather at the fabulous Westin La Cantera Resort to induct several new members into our Bailliage, recognize the efforts of some special members and celebrate the rites of spring.  Bailli Provincial Mark Bermann will be the inducting officer.

Maître Hôtelier Tony Cherone, the General Manager of the Westin La Cantera has prevailed upon Mark Miller, the world renowned chef of Coyote Café in Santa Fe to provide us with a special Fiesta themed menu with his Southwest creations that will be featured this spring in Francesca’s at Sunset where our dinner will take place.  This will be a most memorable event. 

For those interested in staying at the Westin La Cantera, a block of rooms has been reserved for the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs at a fantastic rate of $129 per night.  The number of rooms is limited so make your reservations right now (210/558-6500)! Event reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of your check and will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. As Francesca’s at Sunset provides an intimate dining experience, we are limited in our attendance. Here are the particulars:
