About the event
The May education event will focus on sake education and tasting. As an international organization, the Chaine embraces wine and other spirited beverages.
The history of sake is unclear; however, the method of fermenting rice into alcohol spread from Japan to China around 500 BCE. Did you know that full knowledge of sake is required to pass the Sommelier's certification course? Clay Walker, our resident Sommelier, earned 100 on the sake portion of the Sommelier's test. He is delighted to share his knowledge and expertise with us during this event.
